A Journal of a voyage in the Commerce from Liverpool to Philadelphia : Captain Peter Dyer Master 1804.

Journal kept by unidentified person aboard the Commerce bound from Liverpool to Philadelphia, April 23 - July 1, 1804. Brief daily entries comment on weather, sightings of whales, porpoises, sharks and ships, such as the Fair American, the Cotton Planter, the Eliza and the Cornelia. The last entry mentions the ship's stop at the quarantine station, awaiting the doctor's clearance to proceed to Philadelphia.
